Card Dolls
Marie is known for her fun, innovative ideas for dolls. One such idea was the greeting card dolls. This combines card giving with the love for dolls. Less than the average cost of flowers and guaranteed to last much longer, the greeting card dolls are a great idea. Each Mother's Day a new face is introduced. Consistently, each face has been done for Mother's Day, Christmas and Valentine's Day. Some years other cards were done as well. The hardest to find on the secondary market are the 95 Easter and 95 Mother's Day. The 95 Mother's Day was done in two different faces as well. The face from 94 was used on a few of them. The 99 Mother's Day doll has painted eyes instead of the hand set eyes and is the last doll of the series.
