Marta

Marie Osmond combined several factors that are close to her heart to create "Marta", a Special Edition "Miracle Child" doll. As co-founder and co-host of the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), Marie's affection for children and the hospitals that serve them runs deep, and especially for the many doctors, nurses and volunteers that are dedicated to helping children. Marie sculpted and created "Marta", the candy striper, to represent those who give their time and love to children through children's hospitals, and named her after Marta Lake, whose husband is one of the founders of CMN, along with Marie, her family, John Schneider and Mick Shannon. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this doll, and all "Miracle Children" dolls, is donated to CMN.

"Marta" is truly a collectible doll with an original head by sculptor, Marie Osmond. She has been hand-crafted with the special attention to detail that is the hallmark of all Marie Osmond dolls.

"Marta" is hallmarked on the back of her neck with Marie's signature and is hand numbered. Limited edition of 5,000.
