Little Drummer Boy

There once was a small shepherd boy who played his drum.
He lived in a city called Bethlethem.
One day three kings appeared from afar
Following a glorious, guiding star.

What were they seeking? What would they find?
They sought a new king, the King of Mankind.
They brought only the finest for this newborn King.
Gold, frankincense & Myrrh, fine gifts did they bring.

One king saw the drummer boy perched in the sand,
"Come along son", he said, and he held out his hand.
"Oh, what could I bring Him, poor as I am?
I have nothing to give - just me and my drum."

The king responded, "There's no need to despair,
We all have gifts that we can share.
His gift to us was the greatest gift given,
A priceless present sent down from Heaven."

So humbly, the drummer boy played with his all
That glorious night in a Bethlehem stall.
Ratta tat tat, Ratta tat tat
Rattatat Ratta tat, Ratta tat tat.

The newborn king watched while those old and wise
Adored silently with tears in their eyes.
The wise man whispered that night in the stall,
"If you give of your heart, you've given your all."
