Cinderella Story Book

In her own little corner doing chores all the day
Cinderella longs for a Prince to take her away
Her step-mother and sisters pout and demand
While she dreams of the Ball, now that would be grand

But alas, her duty is to see that they will go
Be-decked from their heads to their big ugly toes
So poor Cinderella, left with only her dreams
Would not be attending the Ball, so it seemed

But kindness is rewarded, more than we know
Just then the Fairy Godmother decided to show
With a flick of her wand and a few magic words
And with everyone helping from the mice to the horse

They turned Cinderella into a beautiful sight
Along with the pumpkin and mice for the night
"Now off to the Ball, be on your way
Just remember 12 bells ends your magical day

We all know what happened, she won the Prince's heart
But he was broken hearted when she had to part
With only a glass slipper to act as his guide
He searched the entire Kingdom in his quest for his bride

When at last he found her . . her dainty foot fit the shoe
And thus we learn, that dreams can come true.
